Description

The HCR PZ 120 scales the PRIME series up to green bean charges between 60 kg and 120 kg per drum, still built around the same double-walled drum that blends conductive and convective heat transfer for consistent flavor and aroma. A user-friendly control panel paired with Artisan software lets roasters run and log every batch professionally, while four independent motors keep roasting and cooling functions fully separate for shorter cycle times. The double-walled drum and mixing blades achieve optimal roasting and blending, backed by a self-made high-class burner and precise thermocouples working in sync with the temperature controllers. A Programmable Logic Controller automates temperature, time, and airflow with micro-adjustments made multiple times a second — roasters can program, save, and recall exact roasting curves, eliminate human error, and scale production without losing the character of specialty beans.
